Contamination Testing:

* USP <788> Particulate Matter Contamination using the Instrumental Test method

(0.5 - 1000um)

* USP <788> Particulate Matter Contamination using the Microscopic Test method

(> 1.0 um)

* Contamination in/on nearly any Medical Device

* Particles in virtually any FLUID ( > 0.2 um)

* Particles on SURFACES ( > 0.2 um)

* Contaminant particles in POWDERS ( > 0.5 um)

* Contamination in lubricating oils, fuels & emulsions

* Cleaning effectiveness for glassware or parts ( > 0.2 um)

* Particle generation studies for operational devices such as valves, pumps,

cylinders, syringes, etc.

notes:

1) Contamination tests are performed using Laser based particle counters, optical microscopes, or SEM’s.

2) micron sizes above indicate the minimum size for routine testing. Smaller sizes

require special pricing.

3) Most tests are standard at a minimum of 1 or 2 microns, with at least 8 channels

of resolution.

4) Particle Identification can also be provided for most tests.
